What Is Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion by Face & Body Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical and non-chemical procedure in which a beauty therapist removes the superficial or sun-damaged layer of skin.

The skin is "sand-blasted" by very finely crushed organic rock, to remove the stratum corneum (top) dead skin cells. Microdermabrasion also promotes the production of new cells in the basal (deepest) layer of the dermis. It stimulates collagen to further even out skin texture and appearance. Because the superficial, sun-damaged layer of the skin is removed, skin care products are able to penetrate the skin more effectively. A series of treatments can produce superb anti-aging results.

Is It Safe?

Microdermabrasion is done progressively instead of aggressively. This virtually painless process can be performed on all skin types and tones with no chance of scarring or hyper pigmentation. It does not involve trauma or bleeding.

How Long Does It Take?

Each treatment takes 60 minutes and when combine it with important anti-aging, skin hydrating steps.

How Many Treatments Are Needed?

For most skin disorders, a minimum of 6 treatments is recommended. Results can be seen in both the texture and the appearance of the skin after just one session. After Treatment Home Care Advice

Book your next treatment before you leave the Clinic.
Wear sunblock at all times.
Do not exercise for 48 hours.
void products with AHA or alcohol in them.
Moisturise twice or three times a day using the recommended day cream from your therapist.
